Paving
2025 Paving is complete. Our 2025 paving season ran from July 21 through August 28, covering improvements on 38 streets across the Township. This large-scale effort brought together crews from Streets, Parks, and Building Maintenance, with anywhere from 5 to 14 team members working each day. In advance, 800 households were notified about the project, and nearly 15,000 tons of asphalt were used to complete the work. Thanks to the dedication of our crews, residents can enjoy smoother, safer roads for years to come.
Below are the locations scheduled for street maintenance (milling and paving) in Manheim Township for 2025. Milling is done to level and smooth the surface, remove old or damaged asphalt, and prepare the surface for repaving. Paving follows the milling process by laying down a new layer of asphalt.
During milling, the roadway will not be closed to normal traffic; however, you may experience minimal travel delays. We ask that you please utilize your off-street parking during this timeframe; this includes all trailers and other vehicles.
During paving, the roadway will be closed to normal traffic. Again, we ask that you please utilize your off-street parking during this timeframe. Any vehicles needed for transportation between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:30 P.M. will require relocation from your property to the nearest available street not posted with a “No Parking” sign.
