PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Manheim Township has prepared a revised Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) in accordance with the requirements of its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
The revised PRP includes updated estimates of existing pollutant loads discharged to streams within Manheim Township and the pollutant load reductions required by DEP. The Plan also identifies existing, constructed, and proposed stormwater management improvements needed to achieve the required pollutant reductions, along with potential funding sources and ongoing operation and maintenance responsibilities.
A public review and comment period for the revised PRP will commence on January 16, 2026, and conclude on February 15, 2026. The draft revised PRP will be available for public inspection at the Manheim Township Municipal Office, located at 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Public Comments may be submitted in the following ways:
- Verbally at the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners Meeting scheduled for February 23, 2026.
- In writing to the Manheim Township Municipal Office at the address listed above; or
- Via email to wsauers@manheimtownship.org
All interested parties are encouraged to review the revised PRP and provide comments during the public review period.
