LEGAL NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Manheim Township Municipal Building, 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania the Board will consider for enactment and, if appropriate, vote to enact proposed Ordinance 2025-21, the full title and text of which is as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MANHEIM AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF MANHEIM TOWNSHIP TO ESTABLISH GENERAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES AND ESTABLISHING THE STRUCTURE, PURPOSE AND ORGANIZATION FOR SUCH COMMITTEES AS WELL AS CREATING A STANDING COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IMPLEMENTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE. This ordinance deletes Chapter 3 “Citizen Advisory Committees” and replaces it with a new Chapter 3 entitled “Advisory Committees” setting forth sections establishing the structure and authorizing the establishment by the Board of Commissioners of general advisory committees and also establishing a standing advisory committee focused upon implementation of the Township’s Comprehensive Plan. The Ordinance contains repealer and severability provisions. This Ordinance shall become effective after its enactment by the Board of Commissioners of the Township of Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania as provided by law. Copies of Ordinance No. 2025-21 as proposed together with any related exhibits are available for public inspection and may be examined by any citizen in the office of the Township Secretary 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania on regular business days between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. A copy of the Ordinance also may be examined without charge at the offices of this newspaper (LNP) and at the Lancaster County Law Library located at 50 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA 17602.
