Do I need a permit to sell door to door in the Township?

Annual permits are required for all persons who wish to solicit funds, peddle, canvass, or take orders either by sample or otherwise, for any goods, wares or merchandise, upon any street, alley, sidewalk or public place, or from house to house in the township.  Permits must be applied for in person at the police station, located at 1825 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, PA 17601

If you see suspicious door to door sales or have a question about a door to door solicitation, please contact the MT Police Department non-emergency dispatch at 664-1180.
