Starting this Spring, there will be a new Joint Recreation Committee that will be charged with the following:
- Develop, monitor and maintain a master schedule for the joint use and/or sharing of facilities.
- Develop policies and procedures for the joint use and/or sharing of facilities.
- Evaluate and make recommendations regarding maintenance, capital improvements or needed facilities.
- Develop proposals for community events, programs and activities that can be jointly undertaken by the Township and District.
This committee will consist of three (3) MT staff members appointed by the Township Manager, three (3) MTSD staff members appointed by the Superintendent, and three (3) resident volunteers jointly appointed by the Manager and Superintendent.
