Notice is hereby given that at the regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at the Manheim Township Municipal Building 1840 Municipal Drive, Lancaster, Pennsylvania the Board will consider for enactment proposed Ordinance 2023-11, the full title and text of which is as follows: ORDINANCE 2023-11. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING ADDITIONS TO SCHEDULE I-H OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE FOR ERECTING STOP SIGNS AT NEW STOP INTERSECTIONS. BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of The Township of Manheim, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, as follows: SECTION 1. Schedule I-H of the Code of the Township of Manheim, as amended (“Code”), which is contained at § 480-66 and referred to at 480-15, is hereby amended to establish the following four way stop intersection, the same shall be added to those set forth in Schedule I-H of the Code, and the appropriate signs shall be posted and all related road improvements and pavement markings shall be completed as set forth in the plan sheet dated July 29, 2022 for Grandview Strand Project 15-103-02 prepared by Town Square Engineering and titled “Pleasure Rd./Esbenshade Dr. Intersection” and also based upon the review by Transportation Resource Group, Inc. in a letter dated July 31, 2023 to the Manheim Township Manager. Both the plan sheet and letter are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Ordinance. Stop Street: Pleasure Road (4-Way), Intersecting Streets: Oregon Blvd/Pleasure Rd, Direction of Travel: East; Stop Street: Oregon Boulevard (4-way), Intersecting Streets: Pleasure Rd/Esbenshade Dr, Direction of Travel: Southeast; Stop Street: Pleasure Road (4-way), Intersecting Streets: Esbenshade Dr/Pleasure Rd, Direction of Travel: Northwest; Stop Street: Esbenshade Drive (4-way), Intersecting Streets: Oregon Blvd/Pleasure Rd, Direction of Travel: Southwest. SECTION 2. Should any paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect, and the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon enactment.
