Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., Eastern Time, a public hearing will be held with respect to the proposed issuance of tax-exempt revenue bonds, in an estimated aggregate principal amount of Thirty Million Seven Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($30,725,000) (the "Bonds"), to finance a portion of the costs of the projects described below. The public hearing will be held by teleconference and is being held pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code").
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, AS PERMITTED BY THE CODE AND THE REGULATIONS PROMULGATED THEREUNDER, THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD REMOTELY. PERSONS DESIRING TO EXPRESS THEIR VIEWS ON THE PROCESS SHOULD FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CONTAINED BELOW IN THIS NOTICE.
- Initial Owner/Operator: Presbyterian Senior Living, 1 Trinity Drive, Suite 201, Dillsburg, PA, 17019, a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation, and/or affiliates thereof ("PHI").
- Estimated Maximum Principal Amount of Bonds: The estimated maximum principal amount of Bonds, to be issued as qualified 501(c)(3) bonds under the Code, is $30,725,000, the proceeds of which will be used to finance costs of: (a) the Capital Projects (as defined and described below), and (b) paying costs of issuance associated with the issuance of the Bonds.
- Description of the Capital Projects: The "Capital Projects" consist of various capital expenditures and improvements including renovations, restorations, expansions, upgrades, alterations, repairs, capital equipment and furnishing acquisitions and construction of general capital improvements to or for the facilities at the locations identified below.
- Locations of Capital Projects: The Capital Projects are or will be located at the existing retirement communities and related facilities (or portions thereof) owned and/or operated by PHI at the following locations/addresses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The estimated maximum principal amount of proceeds of the Bonds to be used at each location/address is indicated below. Although the total of the maximum allocated proceeds of Bonds in all locations is more than $30,725,000, the maximum principal amount of the Bonds to be issued is not expected to exceed $30,725,000.
