On Friday, August 26th, 2022, at 8:00 pm, the Manheim Township Recreation Department will host their 3rd Annual Outdoor Family Movie Night at the Manheim Township Athletic Complex at 2883 Weaver Road, Lancaster, PA.
Attendees will be treated to Disney’s family-friendly “Encanto” projected onto the big outdoor screen and underneath the stars.
The computer-animated musical fantasy comedy follows the “girl with no apparent gift,” Mirabel, who tries her best to fit in a family with extraordinary talents.
The event is free to the public and no registration is required to attend.
“This is our 3rd year doing the Family Outdoor Movie Night for the Manheim Township Recreation Department. This event keeps growing with popularity each year, and this year will also be very popular,” said Youth Sports and Activities Manager, Michael Kurland. “It’s a great way to meet other people in the community in a relaxing setting.”
Attendees will receive a free bag of popcorn and a glow stick, and are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and/or picnic blanket, snacks, and a flashlight. Candy and soda will be available for purchase, cash only.
Guests will be allowed to enter the facility starting at 7:30 pm.
