On Monday, March 14th, at the Board of Commissioners' meeting at the MT Public Library, Deputy Building Code Official, Tim Stoltzfus, was promoted to Director of Code Compliance in a unanimous decision by the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.
Tim has been with Manheim Township since 2016. Over the past 6 years Tim has worked as the primary residential code official and point of contact for residential permit questions. In 2021 Tim was promoted to the position of Deputy Building Code Official. Tim holds 11 national and state building inspection and plan review certifications allowing him to perform plan reviews and inspections on a variety of construction types.
“Tim’s promotion to Director of Code Compliance is a natural progression as he has developed quickly as a team leader and well respected member of our staff," said Assistant Township Manager, and former Director of Code Compliance, Andy Bowman. "Tim is a dedicated, hardworking employee with a customer-first approach.”
Prior to coming to Manheim Township, Tim worked at Ephrata Borough as a code official. Before starting his career in code enforcement, Tim was a commercial construction project supervisor.
