The Manheim Township Police Department has announced the start of a new, upcoming scavenger hunt! Starting Monday, April 12th, 2021, photos of various locations within Manheim Township will be posted to the police department's website on Crimewatch (https://www.manheimtownshippolice.org). Participants will need to identify those locations, physically respond to the location, and find a laminated card with a code written upon it. That code will then need to be written onto a scorecard, which can be found on the website, and then submitted electronically to the police department for prizes!
The hunt will run for a total of three (3) weeks. Each week will feature a different theme involving the Township (e.g. public parks). The weekly contest will start at 12:01 a.m. on the Monday of the week in question, and end at 11:59 p.m., the following Sunday. Small prizes will be given at random to persons who submit the scorecard for any given week. Any person who submits a scorecard containing the codes for all three (3) weeks will be eligible to win a $50.00 gift card to a Township restaurant. The final scorecard must be received by 11:59 p.m., on Sunday, May 2nd, 2021.
RULES - This contest is open to any person who wishes to participate, regardless of age or residency. - There is no cost associated with the event. - All locations will be outside, and there will be no need to enter a building. - All scorecard entries must be received by the deadlines listed above to be considered for a prize. Questions related to this event can be submitted to Officer Natalie Littlehale via email. We look forward to seeing the successes of the scavenger hunters out there!!
