[ARCHIVED] Speechcraft Workshop

You have been asked to prepare a presentation to convince someone to buy your product or accept your ideas. As you are introduced, your hands begin to shake and your mouth is dry. You wonder if you will ever make it through your presentation. This nervousness is not unusual and it can be eliminated.

The Conestoga Toastmasters Club is conducting a FREE multi-session workshop called Speechcraft, which helps participants overcome nervousness and learn basic public speaking skills.

This highly-praised six-session workshop begins on Tuesday, October 14th and will be hosted from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Morgan Center at the Manheim Township Public Library.

Open to the general public for ages 18 years or older, these workshops, which usually cost over $100.00, are offered at NO cost as a partnership between Toastmasters and the Manheim Township Public Library. However, a $25.00 deposit will be required to hold your place, then will be returned upon completion.

The six sessions will be held on Tuesdays: October 14th, 21st, 28th, and November 4th, 18th, and 25th.

Conestoga Toastmasters was founded in 1955 as a non-profit organization and are committed to developing confident communicators and successful leaders who will positively influence the community.

Register online at www.mtpl.info/calendar, or by calling the Library at 717/560-6441.
