Overlook Dog Park

Bring your furry friend to mingle with other dogs and their owners as they enjoy some off-leash time and exercise at the Overlook Dog Park. The Overlook Dog Park exists because of a grass roots community effort started in 2010 to provide a safe and fun environment for dogs and their owners.

The Overlook Dog Park is currently managed the Township's Recreation Department and maintained by the Township’s Public Works Department. The Recreation Department handles member registration, ensures all dog members are properly vaccinated, and requests Dog Park members contact the department with any facility issues they may encounter or file incident reports as appropriate. Member input on their Dog Park experiences can provide a benefit for all the park’s users.

The Overlook Dog Park hours have been established as dawn to dusk. Please review and familiarize yourself with the Overlook Dog Park Rules before completing your registration. Contact the MT Recreation Department office at 717.290.7180 x 3100 with any questions you might have.

Registration may be completed online by clicking here, or in-person at the MT Recreation Department office, Stauffer Mansion, 1241 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM). Dog Park members will need to pick up their Key Fob in-person at the MT Rec office, unless the registration is a renewal. Existing members’ Key Fob expiration dates will be adjusted when their renewed registration is complete.
