1) Thefts from Vehicles (MT & LT) – Numerous thefts from vehicles were reported in the southeastern part of Manheim Township and the east side of Lancaster Township. The thefts occurred overnight August 8-9, 2017, and August 9-10, 2017. They are as follows:
• 400 Block Rutledge Avenue – Loose change taken.
• 400 Block Rutledge Avenue – Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
• 1300 Block Crown Avenue – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
• 1300 Block Crown Avenue – Two unlocked vehicles, wallet taken.
• 1600 Block Ridgedale Drive – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
• 1600 Block Ridgedale Drive – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
• 1500 Block Esbenshade Road – Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
• 100 Block Haskell Drive - Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
• 900 Block East Orange Street – Unlocked vehicle, several items taken. Loss $127.
• 1000 Block Clark Street – Unlocked vehicle, several items taken. Loss $90.



2) Theft, 2:30 p.m. August 9, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike (MT) – A Lancaster woman inadvertently left her wallet in the women’s restroom at Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike. Upon realizing her mistake, she returned and found that the wallet was gone. Occurred at 2:30 p.m. August 9, 2017. Loss $99.

3) Harassment, 3:14 p.m. August 9, 2017, 1699 Oregon Pike (MT) – A 17-year-old Lancaster male has been charged with Harassment following a disturbance in the parking lot of Sheetz, 1699 Oregon Pike, at 3:14 p.m. August 9, 2017.

4) Retail Theft, 5:37 p.m. August 9, 2017, 2076 Fruitville Pike (MT) – Three males were observed taking seven bottles of tequila from the Wine and Spirits store, 2076 Fruitville Pike, at 5:37 p.m. August 9, 2017. Loss $320.

5) Retail Theft, 3:43 p.m. August 9, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike (MT) – A male was observed attempting to leave Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, without paying for merchandise valued at $173. He fled when confronted. Occurred at 3:43 p.m. August 9, 2017.

6) Simple Assault, 8:18 p.m., August 9, 2017, 300 block Pleasure Road (MT) – Desmond Alexander Clawges, M/31, punched a family member in the face during a domestic dispute. The victim sustained a laceration which required stitches. Clawges was arrested and turned over to Central Booking on charges of Simple Assault and Harassment.

7) Retail Theft, 1:43 p.m. August 9, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike (MT) – A female was observed attempting to leave Walmart, 2030 Fruitville Pike, without paying for two television sets. When confronted, she left the merchandise and fled. Value $486. Occurred at 1:43 p.m. August 9, 2017. Her photo appears below. 8) Selective Enforcement Detail, August 10, 2017, Route 30 (MT) – Officers conducted a selective enforcement detail on Route 30 on August 10, 2017, as part of Manheim Township’s ongoing participation in Pennsylvania’s Aggressive Driving program. Sixteen motorists were cited for speeding in the 55-mph zone; the highest speed was 80 mph. One of the motorists was additionally cited for Driving Under Suspension.

9) Theft By Deception, 12:13 p.m., July 25, 2017, 2030 Fruitville Pike-Walmart (MT) – Miriah Lynn Shank, F/20, entered the Walmart and selected a child’s toy from the shelf and proceeded to the return counter. Shank then “returned” the item and obtained $19.97 for the item. Charges of Theft By Deception were filed.

10) Vehicle Theft, August 10, 2017, 900 Block East Orange Street (LT) – A resident of the 900 Blk of East Orange Street reported that his maroon 2009 Pontiac G6 was taken from outside of his residence sometime during the early morning hours of August 10, 2017.

11) Criminal Mischief, 11:20 a.m., August 1, 2017, Dante Boulevard (LT) – Ali Nabiyev, M/26, damaged the walls of his rental home during a dispute with his landlord over the return of his security deposit. $175 loss. Charge of Criminal Mischief was filed.
